Marketplace terms for homeowners
1. Marketplace role
HVAC Agent operates a lead marketplace. HVAC Agent is not the HVAC contractor, does not employ the contractor or technician, and does not perform, supervise, price, warrant, or guarantee HVAC work.
2. Service requests
A submitted date and time are your requested arrival window. The company coordinates scheduling directly with you. Your service visit will be confirmed when the local HVAC company calls before heading your way and you confirm you're home and ready for the technician's arrival. HVAC Agent does not guarantee that a contractor will respond, provide an estimate, accept a job, or complete work.
3. Emergencies
The marketplace is not an emergency service. For fire, gas, carbon monoxide, electrical danger, flooding, a medical emergency, or immediate danger, leave the area when appropriate and contact 911, the utility, fire department, or another qualified emergency service.
4. Information and disclosure to a contractor
You must provide accurate information and be authorized to request service at the property. With your separate affirmative consent, HVAC Agent may disclose the request and contact details to one contractor that purchases exclusive access. The contractor then controls its direct communications and service relationship with you.
5. Communications
Homeowner requests are collected by voice. HVAC Agent does not send homeowner SMS, email, browser-tracker, or push status notifications. A contractor that purchases the request may contact you directly using the callback details you provide during the call.
6. Prohibited use
Do not submit false, unlawful, abusive, dangerous, or third-party requests without authorization; attempt to bypass security; or use the marketplace to harass a homeowner or contractor.
